In the Terminal app on your Mac, in the window running the shell process you want to quit, type exit, then press Return. This ensures that commands actively running in the shell are closed. Close All Open Apps Mac
- Click the Launchpad icon to open the screen of application programs. Find the Other icon and click to open it. The Mac displays a set of OS X utility programs including Stickies, Activity Monitor and Time Machine. Locate the icon for the Terminal program and click it.

How To See Which Apps Are Open On Mac
Before you can share your location with your friends and find your devices, you need to turn on Location Services and Find My Mac. You can do this when you open Find My for the first time or later in System Preferences.

- Click Privacy, then click Location Services on the left.
- Click the lock icon to unlock it, then enter an administrator name and password.
- Select Enable Location Services, then select Find My in the list of apps.

- Click iCloud in the sidebar.

- Click iCloud in the sidebar.
